CRITICAL ALERTS [Earth Week Summary]

[February 18, 2008 ECB; MWM] "Current Week's Summary"

COSMIC FACTORS:   Once again the Sunspot Count was zero all this past week with a more of less flat line Flux at 70/71 as of February 17.  Nevertheless there is some strong but intermittent solar wind turbulence producing occasional magnetic storms in the Earth's atmosphere (as shown by Alaska's Fluxgate Monitor Graph).  The Earth is now sailing through a weak solar wind stream and the Magnetic "A" Index is currently falling. Again, prominences are being reported on the edge of the Sun , but NO CME's or flares at any level have been reported for the past seven weeks. OF COURSE, more stormy solar weather is possible at any time.  For the next 48 hours, NASA predicts a 1%  or less probability of major explosive or flare events on the Sun with a 1% to 25% probability of major magnetic disturbances in the Earth's atmosphere in the higher latitudes. A sudden solar wind gust and major auroras are always possible from the coronal holes aimed at Earth which now can be seen in the Sun's atmosphere.  For more details on current sun go here.  The current lull in solar activity most likely will be broken up very shortly by a rise in Sunspot Activity induced by the rapidly approaching double-headed alignments of Earth | Saturn and Venus | Jupiter (about February 23).   Expect increased solar activity during the next seven days with possibly two spikes of activity very close to together.    See Planetary Alignments for longer range forecast.   For Daily Sun, go to Spaceweather.

ATMOSPHERICS:    As a result of the fast-forming planetary alignments and likely spikes in Solar Activity, expect a re-energizing of stormy weather on Earth during the last week of February. Then expect a respite during early March followed by a very stormy early Spring just before the Spring Equinox on March 21.  Expect also considerable uncertainty in all predictions from all sources.   La Nina was clearly dissolving during January but the last update in Sea Surface Graphs (Feb. 6) showed a resurgence and consolidation of cooler than normal water along the central Pacific Equator.  North Atlantic Oscillation seems also to be resurging with warmer than normal sea surfaces.  

 GEOPHYSICAL FACTORS:    Once again the track of Earth's Wobble appears to demonstrate a substantial deviation from a normal track.  What has been a smooth outward expansion since March 2006 is now apparently too truncated to be called an expansionary spiral.  It is "retarded" and parallels far too closely the spiral track of 14 months ago. It should be showing progressive enlargement, but this is no longer evident.  There are two possible explanations.  One is that this Seven Year Wobble Cycle will be smaller than normal (which happens frequently).  Another possible explanation is that the Wobble is merely showing us that significant drift in the average location of the center of the wobble has been and is still underway, such that the spiral center is now drifting towards the left bottom of the chart (down towards about Longitude West 70-80). This the Wobble has also done before.  A third possibility is that both factors are in play.  Stay tuned, the Wobble continues to be more dynamic than anyone previously imagined.  See Polar Motion for additional information.

The Moon is moving rapidly to Full Moon on February 21/22.  It has just passed its Perigee and Extreme North Declination (North Node) on February 15/16. This has been reflected in the drop in average activity of Class 6+ quakes the last two days (Feb 17/18). The Full Moon likely will bring a brief new surge in major quakes but this probably will not be a notable moment in quake history.   We are currently in a period with lunar cycles becoming less and less synchronized and this disconnection will continue for several months.  This syzygy and the next several should in general produce relatively only small spikes in seismic and volcanic activity. 

At the current time, earthquake activity Class 4+ is about average.  Class 6+ quake activity was about double average frequency during most of the preceding week for the Perigee but has returned to normal about 48 hours ago. After the surge of the prior two weeks, the number of active volcanoes more or less plateaued this past week and their eruptive activity apparently subsided a little. Less updates are being reported to the INTLVRC , the amount of ash seems less, and less lava is mentioned. The Active List increased by one to 30, the Restless List is still at 3, and the Alert List now lists 70, down one. By the next weekly update, the Full Moon is likely to have stirred up some additional activity.  A major surge of volcanic activity was underway,  bringing at least a 45% increase already for this Volcano Season. This surge is likely to be spiked up again during each Full Moon and New Moon Syzygy.  Etna, an important herald, is still silent, not even on the active list at this moment.  Popo and Colima, along with most of  the regulars of last year on the Carib Plate, are definitely heating up.  Erebus, Stromboli, Yasur, and Arenal continue their long ever-lasting eruptions.  (These typically produce lava lakes, lava fountains, and strombolian explosions except that Kilauea's eruption mainly produces long lava flows into the Pacific Ocean). Watch Etna's summit, it will telegraph soon if the 2008 surge will be on par with 2006/2007. 2008 still looks to be an interesting year for volcanoes and it may become a record year. SPIRITUAL FLUX  - -  As previously reported, the power of the Blue Star Kachina continues to grow as a major ingress of higher plane energy expands for those seeking it.  Look for a small blue diamond in the inner most recesses of your mind's eye.  Reach deeply inside your experience of the now.  Seek for the "feeling" of an energy or vibration within your head.  REMEMBER REMEMBER REMEMBER.  Awaken to the higher energy.  Now is truly the time to build an internal link to consciousness of this energy.  As this link strengthens, the internal power of lucid peace will grow, hopefully strongly enough to surmount the highly charged emotional astral chaos of the next Solar MAX, which most likely will be the most chaotic period of human existence in several decades, quite possibly for several centuries.

GEO-ECONOMIC FLUX - -   No new update in this department.  As previously advised, ABOVE ALL REMEMBER ROOSEVELT'S ADVICE:  THE MAIN THING WE HAVE TO FEAR IS FEAR ITSELF.  Once again THE PLUNGE PROTECTION TEAM of the Central Bankers will be working over time this week.  You no doubt have noticed that they are weakening.  Their inability to pick the market up this Monday is a significant marker that the bundling and turnover problem is so large that logistics are drifting out of their orbit.   As previously advised,  don't expect 12,200 on the DJI to hold well.  THE PANIC is ever greater and in full force and a substantial sag yet will be seen during the following days and weeks in the U.S.  The rest you already know the essence. It will be a miracle if they can hold the line at 10,000, some extreme Bears are predicting something in the range of 6000.  Cayce gave the formula for predicting what is happening some 70 years ago and once again is RIGHT ON THE MONEY. GEOPOLITICAL FLUX - - The game continues but by now is horribly threadbare.  McCain-Huckebee versus Obama- Clinton.  Or is it Clinton-Obama?  Probably Obama with Clinton disappearing back into the Senate.  Bill keeps "stepping in it", demonstrating why ex-presidents SHOULD NOT be involved in election campaigns, and Hillary is too insecure to ignore Obama.  Her every effort to turn Obama traits into negatives have simply provided Obama with room for more high ground from which he has easily made Hillary's comments appear silly.  Doubtless we can see that Obama is turning into a masterful politician on the American stage.  More probable than not, Obama will sweep the remaining primaries.  His mantra "change" is not vague at all for the huge numbers of new voters who are thronging to his events, it is "code" for dump the establishment, beginning first with the Clinton Globalists, then the Republicons.  Naturally, the Clintons and the Republicons don't get it.

This process will continue for awhile.  Each week I shift things around to work toward a completely different alignment of the material and presentations.  I am evolving it to press it into a completely different server software environment as well as have major components which serve more as integrated documents which are structured so that a print version of some material can be generated on an annual basis.  We will know I have gotten close when ALL links work and the Weekly Update is sectioned into four or five web pages and the front one (this one) is far lighter in bytes than it has been.

The Changes In The Earth - Global Summary

A RECENT CHART DEFINES "THE CHANGE IN THE EARTH". Click to see the threefold trend in world quake activity 4+ for 1973-2007. This increase in seismic energy is signaling all the other Changes In The Earth, including Global Warming.  Daily average frequency of 4+ quakes has risen from 11 in 1973 to about 35 in 2007.  The average rose dramatically during 2005/06 and is currently lower.  The daily average for 2007 will probably rise a little by the end of the year and may rise more slowly during the next few years.  Statistics are tricky master illusionists so be careful with this following thought:  an exponential growth curve can be drawn through earthquake data 4+ to project another DOUBLING of the current frequency by about 2020.
